Amy S. Ross, MD
Amy S. Ross, MD is a dermatologist and the founder of PHDermatology. She is a graduate of the University of Florida where she earned her bachelor’s degree in microbiology. After her time at UF, Go Gators, Dr. Ross attended Drexel University in Philadelphia where she earned her MD. After 10 years in Philadelphia, Dr. Ross finished her Mohs surgery training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. She is double board certified in dermatology and micrographic dermatologic surgery.

Her medical interests include high risk skin cancer treatment and alternative therapies for the treatment of non-melanoma skin cancers. She is fortunate to be able to travel to a variety of clinic settings across several states. Whether in Austin, Texas or Brandon, Florida, the message is the same. DMP and PHDermatology take patient care very seriously and have the goal of making sure patients feel as if “they have never been treated so well.”
Outside of work, she actively pursues opportunities to give back to her community. She founded and supports the Captain Billek Foundation which raises awareness and funds for melanoma research. She has an unwavering commitment to doing what is right and is a volunteer at the Clearwater Free Clinic and The Faith Cafe. She serves on the Board of Directors for STAR Dental Partners, a high growth dental support organization that provides best in class administrative support for dental practitioners. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of a leading non-profit independent school.
